Julie Oswald was first lady finisher in a time of 43.05, 22nd overall, Finley Smith finished in 15th position in a time of 40.31(George Armstrong).


Paddy Jumelle 5th in Bangkok - 13 October

Paddy finished 5th in the AMARI 6km Midnight Charity Run in Bangkok, the 6km & 12km races sponsored by BMW and the AMARI Hotel Group attracted 3500 runners.

Local athletics club HELP chose Salzburg in Austria for this year's spring marathon tour and last weekend eight of their athletes produced an outstanding performance by all finishing the course in conditions which defeated many of the starters.

Bill Watson to run for Scotland

Bill Watson has been selected to run for Scotland at Riccarton in the Anglo Celtic Plate 100K road race on Saturday 20th May. Bill is delighted to receive the honour and is looking to run around 8hrs for the distance, roughly an average of 8 minute mile pace for 2 x marathon plus 10 miles. (JF)
